Queenstown Marathon – Saturday 15th November 2025
In 2001, I had a paragliding accident in Queenstown that left me with two broken vertebrae, a shattered pelvis, and a severed spinal cord. I was 12 at the time, a lucky factor that meant I was eventually able to walk again, albeit with a limp due to neurological damage affecting my right leg. I am now 36, and although I am impaired by my injuries, I have still managed to live a relatively normal life.
