About the Campaign
My (Zoë’s) 17 y/o brother Jayden had a mountain biking accident in the summer of 2019 and is now a T12 paraplegic. During his time at Burwood Spinal Unit the NZST were incredibly supportive of our family & friends in some of the hardest and darkest days adjusting to life with limited mobility. Jayden has recovered well from the injury, retained his heart for adventure and zest for life, and in the early days this was very much due to the support and generosity of the Spinal Trust.
We would love you to support us as we take on this challenge. One of the ways you could do this is by sponsoring us financially. All the money raised will go to the Spinal Trust who will continue to support people with spinal injuries to live life to the fullest.
UPDATE: 25/6/21 – Wow! What amazing support … thanks heaps! 😍 Everyone’s been so generous so far which is super exciting, so … we’ve increased our target! 🤩
We screen printed these shirts yesterday to run in! It was SO fun + they look awesome !!!
UPDATE: And here they are, in miserable weather but with bright smiles, on the day – absolutely triumphant! 😍
