Why I am choosing to support NZST
When I was young, my father fell from a bridge while cycling to work, resulting in a broken back. Although he didn’t require support from the Spinal Trust, it highlighted just how easily back injuries can occur and how beneficial the aid of Spinal Trust could be.
My Bio
Cycling is far from my forte. I’m not sure if it’s a quarter life crisis but I signed up for this event without ever using cleats. I needed, and still require, all the equipment from bike shorts and jerseys and have no idea about fueling while riding. It’s been a real eye opener … but I’m ready to tackle the challenge, surrounded by like minded people!
