Our Bios

Tina: I am 60yrs old, married, 3 girls, 2 moko and another on the way, horses, cats and a dog at our whare. I am a mtn biker, not a road cyclist – but giving it a go. I whakapapa to Pare Hauraki, Ngati Tamatera, Ngati Maru, Tūhoe ko Moehau te Maunga, Ko Tīkapa te moana, Ureia tōku Taniwhā

Carole: This is my second Tour of NZ but my first time riding for the NZST team. Two of my closest mates and I have chosen to ride for the NZST out of support for a family member/friend who suffered a spinal injury after a horrific and life-changing mountain bike accident.
This will be a very meaningful hikoi for us.

Sarah: My Brother-in-law generously gave me the bike and an awesome friend set the challenge. In April Carole, Tina and I will do the peddling and swearing for 5 days down the West Coast to the top of the Crown Range.
